GPS Survey
We deploy some of the most advanced GPS and survey equipment available capable of gathering highly accurate spatial data for use in creating feature boundaries, surveying river depths or measuring feature heights. For our GPS based real time kinematic (RTK) surveys, the ground crew uses a roving unit to receive radio-relayed corrected positional coordinates for all ground points from a GPS base station set up over a survey control monument. RTK surveying allows for precise location measurements with an error of ( ) ≤ 2 cm (0.8 in).
